Wyoming Beef Quality Assurance Program |
ON-LINE SELF STUDY GUIDE AND CERTIFICATIONPresented by the Wyoming Beef Council and the Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory, University of Wyoming, in cooperation with supporting associations and agencies. What is BQA? The Wyoming BQA program is brought to you by the Wyoming Beef Council as part of a national effort to help producers identify and correct production problems that may impair the quality of the beef they produce. In doing so, they can insure the consumer that the beef they produce is wholesome and safe while increasing the value of their product. Why should I be involved? It is the responsibility of everyone involved in beef production to insure that the product is consistent in quality and free of any residues to increase the value of the product. Everyone benefits by following correct management procedures. Many marketing programs and grids now require BQA procedures be followed for your cattle to be marketed.Any Questions?
