WYOVET is the web site of the Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory.  It is designed to meet the needs of animal owners, government agencies and others interested in animal health, animal disease and food quality in Wyoming.

The site is a cooperative effort by the Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory, UW Cooperative Extension, the Wyoming Livestock Board, the State Veterinarian, the Wyoming Veterinary Medical Association and the Wyoming Beef Council.

The American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD) has administered an accreditation program for state-funded veterinary diagnostic laboratories since 1969. At present, the WSVL is one of 45 laboratories in the United States (some of which are multiple laboratories included in one state laboratory system) and 2 laboratories in Canada that has full AAVLD accreditation status.
